Use Data Connector only with data you may access.

By using Data Connector, operated by Loam, a product of Ship It! Software Limited, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. The applicable Loam service and subscription terms also govern your use of Data Connector.

Your responsibilities

You must have authority to connect or import each source and permit its use with your chosen MCP client. For direct live PostgreSQL or MySQL, use a least-privilege read-only credential and limit exposed schemas. For every connector managed through Loam, use only accounts and data you are authorized to connect. You must comply with applicable law and upstream terms and must not use the service to bypass network or access controls.

Service boundaries

The current product provides read-only access to every permission-visible Loam-managed table, direct live PostgreSQL or MySQL, and tables imported from CSV, Parquet, and SQLite files. Data Connector MCP does not provide connection-management, synchronization, or ETL tools and does not promise backup, transactional snapshots, uninterrupted availability, or protection from changes made independently in an upstream source.

Security and outputs

Technical controls reduce risk, but no hosted service is risk-free. You remain responsible for database backups, credential rotation, source availability, the data you import, and reviewing MCP client outputs before relying on them.

Ownership and acceptable use

You retain rights in your source data and grant only the rights needed to provide the service. Ship It! Software Limited and its licensors retain rights in the site, software, branding, and original materials. Do not interfere with the service, evade limits, probe data you are not authorized to access, or use Data Connector unlawfully.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without guarantees of accuracy, fitness, uninterrupted operation, or preservation of data. To the extent permitted by law, Ship It! Software Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, lost-profit, or lost-data damages arising from use of Data Connector. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

Changes, termination, and governing law

We may suspend misuse, change or discontinue features, and update these terms. You may stop using the service by revoking MCP authorization and removing connections or imported data. New Zealand law governs these terms, and New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. The revision date above identifies the current version.
